Based in Scotland, Suzanne is a freelance journalist, actor and writer who has written for multiple organisations including The Scotsman newspaper.
Suzanne trained in journalism at Edinburgh Napier University, achieving a Master of Arts with Distinction. Her area of expertise are Arts and Culture. She graduated with a first class honours degree in English literature from the Open University in 2023.
As an actor, Suzanne has toured extensively across Scotland with Rolled Up Productions and Fast Forward, performing over 250 times across every local authority. Along with touring Suzanne has also featured in short films and worked as assistant director and producer.
Suzanne has a high level of proficiency in InDesign, Avid Media Composer, WordPress and Audacity. She is confident in filming and editing videos to a high professional standard, designing content for print and online, writing copy and sub-editing.
Suzanne was the recipient of the Fringe Young Writer Award 2022 for her written reviews. As part of the award, she received mentoring from reviewers Joyce McMillan and Alistair Harkness.

Suzanne produced a magazine as part of her MA degree along with other students. Suzanne was part of the editorial team, design team and was section head of Arts and Culture. All written contributions can be read through the link.
In 2024 Suzanne took part in the International Magazine Challenge in which she worked with publishers, editors and graphic designers to create a magazine in a week.
